Connection troubleshooting ​

  • Missing transport type: check the module and installed packages.
  • Missing adapter: check the manufacturer's driver and cable, then use Rescan.
  • Missing 32-bit J2534 adapter: check status and the device list in Connections → Driver Bridge.
  • Serial port busy: close the application using it and reconnect.
  • For further diagnosis, check Settings → Logging and the connection status message.

Connected but no messages ​

Check that traffic is present, the bitrate matches the line, and the correct channel is selected. Clear the Tracer filter; for CAN, inspect the Physical layer. Opening Tracer or Monitor does not start device polling. See working modes.

For further investigation, prepare a log and issue description.
